Although the Rice defensive front shared no small of amount of responsibility for the Owls' failure to get to the Baylor quarterback Saturday, at this time we introduce into evidence three photographs marked Plaintiff's Exhibits "A", "B" and "C"...

These three pix were taken, we swear, on Baylor's FIRST SERIES OF DOWNS in the ball game -- we gave up even the hope of chronicling further infractions after none of these were whistled; it's clear that the college game has a strong bias toward max protection of the quarterback, and the pass rush be damned; might as well get used to it...

Although we kind of recall from our wishbone days that the gendarmes, on the other hand, were very quick to flag holding infractions, non matter how minor, when the running play went off-tackle or wider -- here, apparently not so...and, again, these were all on Baylor's FIRST SERIES OF DOWNS
