After forcing a three-and-out ont he Miners, Owls take
over, and Chase is up and at 'em...
...connecting with his main man, Jarett Dillard, downfield -- meanwhile, JD's nemesis, Mr.
Demps, is like, "Where'd he go???"
...by the time Demps is turned back around, JD is setting
sail for paydirt...
..Demps has a slight angle on Jarett, though, and begins
to close the gap...
...finally getting a hand on him to slow him down around
the UTEP 15...
..."Whoaa, mule, whoaa -- I need some help to bring
this hoss down"
....and Demps gets it as two Miners finally catch up to the play...
...JD appears to be blind-sided as the ball uncharacterisically pops looset...
...and dang if it isn't on the turf, out of reach of the
Good Guys -- a 65-yard pass-and-run gone for naught; but, hey, we won anyway
